ACCOMmODATION

The bothan is an open plan, light space with a wood-burner, sofa and a built in dining table. It is a bespoke design by Studio Hardie, the celebrated design collective behind the projects on Channel 4’s Amazing Spaces.

It can sleep four, with a comfy double bed in a mezzanine and a set of cabin bunks. It is well insulated, with doubled-glazed windows, so very cosy, whatever the weather.

The kitchen is equipped with a double gas ring cooker and Smeg oven. There is a separate bathroom with a hot shower and Swedish dry composting toilet. Linen, bedding and towels are provided, as well as eco-friendly shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.

For moments of relaxation, the living-room is stocked with board games, and a small library of books on Eigg’s history / flora / fauna, alongside general good reads.

The fixtures and furnishings in the bothan have been carefully chosen for their quality and aesthetic to create a comfortable, pleasing space.

St Franny’s is situated on our farm, and we live close by if you have any queries. We can also supply fresh, free-range eggs from our farm hens.
